Kermit Johnson Elementary5th Grade RLC Dauphin Island Field TripApril 13-15, 2011Wednesday – Friday It’s time to start planning our field trip to Dauphin Island! We are now taking deposits of at least $20.00. Please send your deposit as soon as possible to make sure there is a spot available if you want your child to attend.  There will also be parent spots at the dorm onsite. However, you may choose to stay at Dauphin House Bed and Breakfast or Gulf Breeze Motel. You will still eat all meals with us and participate in all activities. If you stay offsite, you will have to drive your own vehicle. If you stay in the dorm, you will be able to ride the chartered bus. Dorm spots are limited, so if you’re interested in going as a chaperone, you’ll need to get your deposit in as soon as possible also. As of now, we’re taking 9 chaperone deposits to allow every student the chance to attend.  The total cost for a child is $220.00. This includes the cost of the chartered bus, all food except breakfast on Wednesday morning, all admission costs and activities, and the dorm room. The total cost for a chaperone staying at the dorm is $140.00. This includes all food except breakfast on Wednesday morning, all admission costs and activities, and the dorm room. The total cost for a chaperone staying offsite is $70.00. This includes all food except breakfast on Wednesday morning and all admission costs and activities. Please send a deposit of at least $20.00 for each person attending as soon as possible to reserve a spot.
